Portrait of a Children’s Book Author and Illustrator

When the wonderfully gifted author and illustrator Alexandra Boiger asked me to help her produce a video, I was excited. She does incredible work out of her studio located in beautiful Marin County. To get away from Los Angeles to see the green of Northern California for a bit and also feature it in the video was great. We basically followed her for a day to give Alexandra’s fans a little peek into her daily routine, while learning about what interests her and how she got into making children’s books. I hope it captures the creativity and hard work it takes to put those beautiful worlds onto a white piece of paper. Check out her debut book, Max and Marla, for which I also created the book trailer. And since I enjoyed making her video so much, I am planning on doing more of these artist portraits and expand them into a series.
